Is this live?
Not yet. Small trials with real owners and drivers start in December 2026 in a few neighborhoods, and we plan to open on January 1, 2027. Joining the list means we'll email you when it's ready near you.
What's the founding-driver offer?
- Who qualifies: drivers who join this waitlist before January 1, 2027, using the email address they later sign up with.
- What you get: no SnugPark service fee (normally 8% of the rent, included in the all-in price) on the first 3 monthly payments of your first lease. Example: a $400/month spot is normally $432 all-in; you'd pay $400 for months 1 to 3, then $432.
- When: the lease must be agreed (the owner accepts your offer) between January 1, 2027 and June 30, 2027.
- What it doesn't change: the owner sets the rent, and the owner's payout is the same. Offers and bids are made at the normal all-in price; the fee is waived on the lease afterwards.
- One per person, tied to your waitlist email. It can't be transferred or exchanged for cash. December 2026 trial leases don't use it up (no fees are charged during trials anyway).
- These are draft terms. The final terms will be in your lease agreement, and we'll email you before launch if anything changes.
What does it cost?
Joining is free and commits you to nothing. When we launch, drivers see one all-in monthly price, which includes SnugPark's service fee (8% of the rent). Owners pay 4% of the rent. During the December trials, no money goes through SnugPark; drivers and owners pay each other directly.
Can I get a spot that's rented right now?
Sometimes. With the current tenant's OK, an owner can open a rented spot to offers on the next lease. A higher offer never ends the current lease early. The owner picks the offer they like (not automatically the highest), and the current tenant then has 7 days to match it on the same terms. The tenant never has to bid against anyone.
Who can rent a space?
San Francisco residents. City planning rules limit renting residential garage parking to people who live in SF.
Which neighborhoods?
We're starting in Russian Hill, Nob Hill, Telegraph Hill, North Beach, the Marina, Cow Hollow and Pacific Heights. Sign-ups from anywhere in the city tell us where to go next.
